Additional Filter Options in WooCommerce

The Dynamic AJAX Product Filters plugin provides multiple additional filter types to help customers refine their product searches in different ways.

Step 1: Enable Filters in Form Manage

Access Filter Settings:

  1. Go to Product Filters > Form Manage in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Open the filter form you want to customize.

Available Filter Options:
Each of the following filters can be enabled individually by toggling their switch to ON:

  • Show Brand – Displays a filter for product brands.
  • Show Authors – Displays a filter to sort products by authors (useful for book stores or multi-author setups.)
  • Show Stock Status – Let customers filter products based on stock availability (e.g., In Stock, Out of Stock).
  • Show Sale Status – Enables a filter for products currently on sale.
  • Show Dimensions – Allows filtering by product dimensions (e.g., length, width, height).
  • Show SKU – Lets users search or filter products by SKU codes.
  • Show Discount – Adds a filter to view products based on discount percentage or offer availability.
  • Show Date Filter – Enables filtering by product publish or update date.
  • Show Custom Fields Filter – Allows filtering based on custom fields created in WooCommerce.

Save Settings:

After enabling your desired filters, click Save to apply the changes.

Step 2: Style/Design/Customize the Filter Widgets

Access Style Settings:

  1. Go to Product Filters > Form Style in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Choose the filter you wish to style from the dropdown menu.

Customization Option:

  • Widget Title:
    You can add or edit the title for each filter section (e.g., Filter by Brand, Filter by SKU).

Step 3: Manage Tags in the Filter Widget Form

  1. Access Filter Settings:
    • Go to Product Filters > Form Manage in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Show Tags:
    • In the settings, find the Show Tags option.
    • Toggle this option on or off to control whether tags appear in the filter widget.

Step 5: Display the Tag Filter Option on Your Webpage

 

Once you complete these steps, customers will be able to filter products by tags on your webpage using the Dynamic AJAX Product Filters plugin. This feature enhances the shopping experience by allowing users to quickly find products that match their specific tags or interests.
