The Optional Settings section allows you to control the appearance, behavior, and ordering of individual filter widgets.
Enable Minimization Option
This option controls whether the filter widget can be collapsed.
- Disabled
The filter remains fully expanded at all times. - Enabled with Arrow
Users can minimize or expand the filter using an arrow icon. - Enabled without Arrow
The filter can be minimized without displaying an arrow icon. - Initially Minimized
The filter loads in a collapsed state when the page first loads.
Enable Hierarchical
Controls how hierarchical terms (such as categories) are displayed in the filter.
- Disabled
Displays all terms as a flat list. - Enabled
Displays parent and child terms in a hierarchical structure. - Enabled & Separate
Displays parent and child terms separately. - Enabled & Hide Child
Displays only parent terms and hides child terms until a parent is selected.
Single Selection
- Allows only one filter value to be selected at a time.
Show / Hide Number of Products
When enabled, the total number of matching products is displayed next to each filter term, helping users understand availability before selecting.
Max Height
Sets a maximum height for the filter list.
- Enter
0to disable height restriction. - Useful for long filter lists, enabling scrolling within the widget.
Show / Hide Widget Title
Controls the visibility of the filter widget title.
- Show – Displays the widget title on the frontend.
- Hide – Hides the widget title.
Widget Title
Allows you to set a custom title for the filter widget as shown to users on the frontend.
Order Values / Terms By
Controls how filter values or terms are sorted inside the filter widget. You can choose alphabetical, numeric, default, product count, month & year, or menu-based ordering to organize filter options in a clear and user-friendly way.
- Alphabetically – Orders filter values from A–Z based on their names.
- Numeric – Orders filter values based on numeric value.
- Default – Uses the default WordPress or WooCommerce ordering.
- Product Count – Orders filter values based on the number of products assigned to each term.
- Month & Year – Orders values based on month and year (useful for date-based filters).
- Menu Order – Uses the custom menu order defined for terms.
Order Direction
Controls the sorting direction of filter values.
- Ascending – Sorts values from A–Z or lowest to highest.
- Descending – Sorts values from Z–A or highest to lowest.
Enable Apply Button
Controls how and when filters are applied on the frontend.
- Show Apply Button
Displays an Apply button for the filter. - Apply Button Text
Set a custom label for the Apply button. - Apply Filter On
Defines when filters are applied:- Apply Button Only – Filters are applied only after clicking the Apply button.
- Button Click + Select Option – Filters apply both when selecting an option and when clicking the Apply button.
Enable Reset Button
Controls the display and behavior of the Reset button in the filter.
- Show Reset Button
Displays a Reset button that clears selected filter options. - Reset Button Text
Set a custom label for the Reset button. - Show Apply & Reset Button On
Defines where the Apply and Reset buttons are displayed:- Top – Buttons appear at the top of the filter.
- Bottom – Buttons appear at the bottom of the filter.
- Separately – Buttons are shown separately.
Note: This option is available only when using a select layout or single selection layout.
