Installation Guide for Slidario WooCommerce Product Slider (Free and Pro)

Slidario – AI Product Slider & Carousel for WooCommerce is a WordPress slider plugin for product sliders, category carousels, review sliders, image and video sliders and more. The free plugin installs from WordPress.org; Slidario Pro is the same plugin with the Pro features added, installed from a zip file.

Install the free plugin

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
  2. Search for Slidario.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. A new Slidario menu appears in the admin sidebar. It opens the Slidario dashboard.

  1. Click Activate Plugin. If the free Slidario plugin is active, Pro switches it off on its own. Your sliders, reviews, statistics and settings stay, because both use the same data.

  1. Go to Slidario → License and activate your Pro license key. Pro features turn on as soon as the key is active.
If both stay active, the Plugins screen says the free plugin is not needed any more.

After Pro is active you can delete the free plugin. Deleting it does not remove your sliders, even when Delete everything when the plugin is deleted is turned on, because Slidario Pro still uses them.

Manual installation

  1. Unzip the plugin on your computer.
  2. Upload the folder to /wp-content/plugins/ with FTP or your host’s file manager.
  3. Activate it under Plugins.

Requirements

WordPress 6.2 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. WooCommerce is needed only for product, category and story-product sliders. The AI features need WordPress 7.0 with an AI provider connected. The full list is in Slidario requirements.
