What Is Stored and What Is Sent

Stored in your WordPress database

  • Your prompts, competitors and settings.
  • Every AI answer, with mentions, positions and cited sources (kept for the days you set; 180 by default).
  • Suggestions and wins.
  • API keys, stored encrypted.

Nothing is loaded on the front end of your site, no cookies are set for visitors, and no visitor data is collected.

Sent to the AI services you enable

When a check runs, each prompt is sent from your server straight to each enabled service, with the model name, using your key. Each service handles it under its own terms: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity.

Optional: anonymous results to Plugincy

Off by default. Only if you switch on Share anonymous results on the Wins page, the plugin sends this when a done suggestion gets its final result: a random install ID, the plugin version, the suggestion type and category, whether it worked, the mention-rate change for those prompts and for untouched prompts, whether your page was cited, and the number of days it took. No brand names, prompts, answers, URLs, site address or personal data. Click See exactly what is sent to see an example.

It is used to rank suggestion types by how often they work. See the Plugincy privacy policy.
