The plugin finds your brand by name, as whole words. Sometimes a match is wrong, for example when your brand name is also a common word, or another company has a similar name.
Correct a mention
- Open the answer on the Results page.
- Click Mark mention as wrong.
The answer no longer counts as mentioning you, brands listed after you move up one place, and the numbers update.
Avoid it next time
- Use your full brand name in Brand name, and put short forms in Other names AI may use only if they are not common words.
- Add the similar-named company as a competitor, so its mentions are counted for it.
